HELLO FRIEND,

I’ve been in the Product Design space for over 15 years and remain forever delighted by its pairing of the fundamental (human needs!) with the mutable (our chaotic and changing world!)

At work, and at home, I’m most myself when I’m asking questions, getting lost in a story, looking for connections or doing an experiment. My favorite communities and organizations value these practices, too.

I am currently leading the Product Design team at America’s Test Kitchen. Below are some of the most challenging, impactful, and rewarding work I’ve done over the past nine years there.

Mechanics of a Recipe

Home cooks needed a digital-first recipe experience that keeps you focused and ‘in the flow’ when cooking from your phone– especially when the timer’s going off and you’re mid-butterflying a chicken

We identified a canon of fundamental questing archetypes and built a flexible wayfinding system around them– connecting home cooks to what they need when they need it, even if they aren’t sure what ‘it’ is yet.
